After a pattern of tasting New Zealand Whites and coming to the conclusion that they are all gaining huge amounts of weight and flavour profiles, Church Roads 2010 Pinot Gris reinforced that sentiment. This wine resembled an Alsatian Gris on steroids. Strawberries and confected cream instantly grab you then a wollop of residual sugar goes in for the knock out. A wine making a serious statement and seriously needing a food match to balance out the call!!!!!
