Ashbrook 2010 Verdelho, Margaret River WA

Margaret River Verdelho Hmmm, JH was right Ashbrook has pushed so much flavour into this wine. Quince, guava, dragon fruit  and a semblance of stone fruit. A tickle of sherbet on the tongue leads to to the impact of a truly full bodied Verdelho. To anyone who thinks that Verdelho is another wishy washy dry white , you must try this wine. Verdelho will (arguably) probably never be the next big thing, but if Ashbrook's version is any example than I think we should all seriously take another look.
