Seppelt 05 Shiraz

If you have ever seen the way blueberries bleed through cream and the incomparable flavour of the both together will convince you dessert can  be served before mains. Not that I'm saying this wine is sweet ,to the contrary. The nose screams of beef stock, no freshly roasted pan juices. A pronounced sour component and acidity are all a calling card of a wine fully evolved and falling. These two particular flavour descriptors and the density of the mouth feel are all calling cards of a mature red wine from the Seppelt stable and for the a quarter of the price of some of the more individual wines they produce is a true bargain in quality and style.
