Jacob's Creek 08 'Reserve' Chardonnay

Wow, what huge bang for your buck. Especially when on special it can be as low as $12 dollars a bottle. I brought a bottle with not a lot of expectation. I've known for quite some time that the JC Reserve label is a huge leap in quality when compared with the normal JC for very little extra out lay. Chantilly cream was my first impression. My mouth feels caressed with a visceral layer of vanilla and lemon zest.  As the wine opened up in the glass the stone fruit and cashew notes regarded as  calling cards of the style all fell into place. So tonight if your want a Chardonnay that will impress and not break the budget then look no further than Jacob's Creek Reserve.
