Rochford 2011 'Cerberus' aromatic white blend, Yarra Valley VIC

Rochford 'Cerberus' Aromatic Alsatian blend was a real thought provoker. The mass being Gewurtztraminer with  riesling and pinot gris filling out the remainder. Crisp acidity and a chalkiness grip the palette. Gewurtze's lychee, rose petal and sometimes pear skin are dominant. Rieslings vibrant acidity and gris's  creamy mouth feel fill out the remainder. Sensation's and flavours linger long after you swallow. A fantastic aperitif style with huge food and wine options.
